Noteworthy Farm Shop

Noteworthy Farm

Noteworthy farm is based on approx 12 acres, which is utilised for growing meadow hay and housing our prize winning herd of Angora goats (which are very friendly).

Our Herd name is Yanchella Angora Goats.

Unable to read/write the source directory (D:\customers\noteworthydevon/images/stories/goats/), please verify the directory permissions (Go to: Fix permissions tutorial)

We had winning success at the Angora Goat Breed Show,  held at the 3 Counties show, where we won best 2 year buck, 1st in the kid fleece and 1st in the 3rd shear fleece.

We also have black, grey and brown coloured Abgora goats, as well as a kid born three weeks ago named Honey.

Our goats only produce milk for their young and are not milking goats, instead they provide a lovely fleece called Mohair which is shorn twice a year.

We are members of the British Angora Goat Society as well as the Mohair Marketing Board.

Noteworthy Farm Shop

We have made available our own brand of Mohair products including;

Angora Goat Meat (subject to availability)

Mohair Socks

Knitted Mohair Shawls, Hats and Bags

Mohair Wool, machine and hand spun

Angora Goat skin rugs

Spinning Lessons

At Noteworthy you can come to stay and learn how to spin Mohair or bring your own wool (spinning wheels can be provided).

Please telephone us to book if you would like to have a lesson in spinning.

We also have four British miniature horses.

They are called Yanto, Chelse, Eclipse and Fly. They have been shown at local shows and Chelse has competed and been placed at The Horse Of The Year Show 2001. They are now being schooled for driving. Our Children also ride them.

We have eight ducks which were the childrens birthday presents and they are laying eggs at the moment
